The historic spa town of Merano lies just below Scena – easily reachable by bus or a few minutes by car. A city walk leads through the arcades and old town, past Art Nouveau façades and along the promenades.
For those interested, visit the Kurhaus, the city museum in Palais Mamming, the Women’s Museum, or the Tappeinerweg above the rooftops.
Slightly above Merano are the gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle – with over 80 garden landscapes from around the world. A wonderful place for strolling, viewing, and marveling.
