Your arrival in Scena – How to reach us near Merano

Your route to Scena

The Lagrein is located on the southern edge of Scena, a 15-minute walk from the village centre. The village is easily reachable on foot – a stroll through the orchards leads directly to the centre. Even the journey itself can be simple: by car, train, bus, or by air.

… by car

We are easily accessible from all directions:

From the Brenner or the south (Trento, Verona, Lago di Garda):
take the A22 Brenner motorway to Bolzano Sud, continue on the MeBo express road to Sinigo, then head towards Merano. At the roundabout, turn right and follow the road to Scena (approx. 5 km, 8–10 minutes).

From the Resia Pass:
after the Forst Brewery, take the MeBo express road towards Bolzano, exit at Sinigo. Then continue as described above.

From the Timmelsjoch or Jaufen Pass:
before Merano, at the St. George’s Church, turn onto Cavourstraße and drive through Maia Alta towards Scena. (Note: Please check in advance for any winter closures of the passes.)

… by bus

Stress-free travel: several tour operators offer organised bus trips to Scena. The best information is available from the Scena Tourist Association – they will be happy to assist.

The most convenient route is by train to Bolzano, then by regional train to Merano and from there by bus or shuttle to Scena.
